Weekly Update 11.21.16

Thanksgiving Week!

Thanks to everyone who came out in support of the awesome local breweries here in TC! The Beer & Seafood Dinner was an amazing experience, and we had a blast with all the fun events this past week.

But now it’s time to shift gears a little.

Tuesday, we’re celebrating Center City Kitchen’s Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony from 4:30-7:00pm. Center City Kitchen is the awesome incubator commissary where we prep all our food for service at The Little Fleet. The owner Ryan is one of the nicest landlords you will ever work with and just an all-around great guy. If you have a small business you’re interested in starting up, he is definitely the man to talk to, and we encourage you to join us at the Open House on Tuesday to scope out the place as well as meet cool local vendors, like Cordwood BBQ, Seafoam Candy Company, and Bayside Gatherings – in addition to yours truly, of course.

Thursday is Thanksgiving, and we will be closed so everyone can spend time with their family…But Thanksgiving Eve, Wednesday, November 23, The Little Fleet is throwing Big Damn Party with a silent disco and masquerade to go crazy with friends before spending the next day with the fam.

After Thanksgiving, Friday is as usual for everyone, but Saturday is Small Business Saturday. Make sure you get out and support as many local businesses as possible – whether it’s your favorite brew pub, community bookstore, or good ol’ Seafood Driven at The Little Fleet, remember that holiday sales and shopping aren’t all about the big box stores and chains. Your community is here for you, so show them some love!

Sunday, we have our Weird West Coast Oyster Event. We thought we had made an announcement about that being delayed a week. Between supplier issues and the weather, we didn’t want to risk any raw oysters being damaged for your consumption! Ask your bartender at The Little Fleet about grabbing your tickets ASAP – we will be bringing in a limited amount, so reserve your dozen while you can. You can learn more about the event here.

Thank you, everyone. We love food and we get to share that with you. You make what we do more fun than hard work. Have a Happy Thanksgiving this week, and travel safely.
